I've sort of started a love affair with the new Starbucks Teavana iced teas. The Iced Blackberry Mojito Tea Lemonade has become my new favorite sweet treat on my way home from work. I've fallen so much in love that last week I decided to try creating an iced tea concoction of my own: Raspberry Ginger Green Tea Lemonade. It was just as good (mind if I brag?) maybe even better than my Starbucks fav. So thought I'd share my little recipe with you. It's too simple to not give it a try.
Brewed Green Ginger Tea
Tall Glass Filled with Ice
Brew the green tea to your desired strength, and let it cool in the fridge until chilled. Pour tea into glass with ice about half way up. Fill the rest of your glass with the lemonade and stir. I found that the lemonade added enough sweetness for me, but if you prefer a sweeter drink, add sugar to the tea while it's still hot. Top with a handful of berries, stick in a straw, and take it outside to enjoy!
It's the perfect summer sip.
