Monday night I took my first ever cheese course at Murray's Cheese in the village. It was such tasty fun! We sipped and munched, swirled and learned. Coincidentally, the class happened to be called Spring in Spain (Spanish Wine & Cheese), very much in tune with yesterday's post. The class was taught by two wonderful experts, Kerin Auth & Waldemar Albrecht, who led us through our six pairings. They were great at explaining each wine and cheese, where it came from, how it was made, pointing out the unique flavors and textures throughout. I have to say, I was a pretty good student, I even took notes. Each bite/sip was a completely new and delectable experience.
