World of Children . . .

As New York Autumn comes into full swing, so does benefit and gala season. It's amazing how with the first falling of the leaves a once empty calendar is suddenly fully booked to celebrate charity events of all shapes and sizes. Last night I attended the 14th Annual Award Ceremony for a charity that is very dear to my heart, World of Children.

World of Children is an incredible cause that strives to set the gold standard in children advocacy by supporting programs that work to change and improve the lives of children. Last night, program founder Harry Leibowitz spoke of WOC's goal to help save little hearts and create little smiles, anything less is just not an option.

This year's honorees included Dr. Ashok Banskota, founder of the Hospital and Rehabilitation Center for Disabled Children in Nepal and fifteen year old Neha Gupta, founder of Empower Orphans in the US and India. To see the full list of honorees visit here

The event was held at 583 Park Avenue which lured a number of recognizable names and faces. Take a look at some photos of last night's ceremony. It was an absolute blast.
