Introducing your . . .

Every first Friday of the month I will publish my top picks from NYC's best stores, restaurants, bars, and hotels, just in case you ever feel like indulging in a little tourism of your own.

C. Wonder
Just two weeks since it's opening, Tory Burch's ex Chris Burch's store is a great success. Think of it as your one stop shop for ultra bright and super chic women's wear, accessories, home decor, and more. If you like color, you'll love C. Wonder.

Tucked in the West Village, Griffou is deliciously stylish with just the right touch of bohemian flavor. Ideal for dinner on a cool autumn night, Executive Chef Mark Strausman's menu offers a variety of rustic Italian classics that will warm you up from the inside out.

Rose Bar is the place to go for an after dinner drink, or two. Nestled into the plush velvet banquets, listening to the smokey sounds of jazz player Brian Newman, you'll be transported right to the 20s era, only to be brought back to reality by the fluttering of fashionistas throughout the space.

Mondrian SoHo
Located under a pleasant canopy on Crosby Street, the Mondrian Soho hotel offers the convenience and style of a downtown location without the stream of never ending crowds. The lobby is inspired by Jean Cocteau's 1946 film “La Belle et la BĂȘte,” while the bedrooms boast views, size, and most important, comfort.
